Help with earrings, just got my lobes pierced.?

So I had my ears pierced about 5 1/2 weeks ago at piercing pagoda, and I decided to change my earrings this week like on Wed; well tonight I decide to go clean them and I took out my left earring and so far there have been no problems with the healing process and when I was done cleaning the lobe area I had kind of a hard time putting my earring back in, i tried to put it back in the hole but it wouldn't go through so I used a little of force to put it back in and after that I wiped the back again with the q-tip and solution and there was a little blood, I have never had any problem like this putting my earrings in, and i was just wondering if this was normal?
