Do you on the left even see a problem with illegal immigration?

I can't answer for all democrats, but I see a lot of things that are more important. I see the big problems as being (not necessarily in this order A. The economy B. A broken health care system C. The Iraq fiasco D. Corruption at the highest levels of our government E. The destruction of our constitutional rights. I know that some people feel differently, but I feel much of that is because it can be and is made into an emotional issue. We are talking about 12 million people out of 300 million in the country. Most objective studies have shown that they are not the drag on the economy that people have made them out to be. Security issue...all of the 9/11 high jackers were here on legal visas. The most important negative is the adverse affect on wages, Fences will not fix this, prosecuting those companies who hire the illegals to save on labor costs will.
