Why are so many people against marshall farms?

I just got 2 ferrets, from a lady who could no longer care for them, they are both friendly happy and nice pets, I know slinky is from marshall farms but im not sure about annabelle, why do so many people not like them I am not familiar with them and just trying to find out!!!
