Political historians, have you ever seen the Congress so divided as they are about this health bill ? read:?

I was watching a you tube and the ping of the health care bill and there were hecklers and so forth and the whole floor broke out and the lead guy had to bang the gavel over and over, It sure seemed like things were " out of control". Has it ever been like this before ? I am 59 and don't remember it, but I was also busy raising kids. I am curious as to if this has happened before. I know they have disagreed, but I have never seen such discontent and rude behavior,
